The food is okay, but honestly.... what a bunch of greenwashers. The website flashes around words like recycled, sustainable, local, organic.... yet they don't do any of those things! I believe they tried in the beginning, but wow did they fail. To make things worse, they still use the same menu, yet don't tell people that what they are ordering is no longer organic. So the prices stay jacked up, yet you aren't getting anything better than any other greasy diner. I will not support a place that doesn't at least respect customers enough to admit they screwed up.

This place sucks, when food is this bad I fear for the safety of my stomach...hopefully the cooks are ay least sanitary, the 401 and whoever owns/runs it should be embarrassed that they're in the food industry

Received our meal quickly. Accommodated a request for a French dip sandwich, though it is not offered on the menu. The handcut fries were delicious. We ate around 2pm on a Sunday afternoon. The restaurant was uncrowded. If we lived here, we'd definitely come back.

I decided to come here on a whim. The french toast was the best I ever had! My friend had an omlet with smoked salmon and goat cheese. It was busy but our food took about 15 minutes. Well worth the wait.

I recently moved Conshohocken a few months ago and me and my wife have been talking about trying the 401 Diner for a while. So this past saturday we woke up starving and thought, hey lets try out the Diner! wow....is all I can say. I never write reviews online, but my experience was so miserable, I had to put the warning out there for everyone. First it took 15 minutes to even get a drink!! The table next to us was dirty and took a bus boy 20 minutes until it was cleaned off. Finally after ordering 45 minutes later our BREAKFAST came out. I mean how long does it take to cook breakfast? The place wasn't even crowded! so our meal comes. I ordered a breakfast sandwhich and my wife an omlet. The sandwhich bagel was hard, stale. My jaw was so sore after trying to chew a pathetic excuse for a bagel. For some reason the potatoes I ordered as well were so freaking dry I couldn't even eat them. My wifes omlet was equally as poor, extreamly dry. She had to use 8 ketchups and a gallon of hot sauce to even get through it. Conshohocken has so many great resturants to go to please no matter what you do try this place. There is an awesome DELI across that street that is fantastic! If you read this review, and still decide to try the 401 Diner. Shame on you.

The food was pretty good however the waitress had an attitude and ignore us the whole time.

Have eaten at the new 401 a few times. The food is usually good, but the service is always slow, even when they're not that busy, and they frequently get orders wrong and forget things. The waitstaff also never ever checks on you to see if you need anything like a refill on your drink. For the prices, it's not really worth the frustration.
