All of their food is fantastic. They used to be the famous Mandarin Garden a couple of blocks down and I've been loving their food ever since. I'm not so much of a food critic myself, but I know this place is the loveliest thing in the city.

Impressed by the raft of positive reviews here, we phoned in an order of steamed dumplings, scallion pancokes, General Tso's chicken and moo shu pork. Delivery was prompt. Alas, we were gravely disappointed: dumplings and pancakes were similarly bland and chewy; the moo shu was acceptable but undistinguished, and the chicken was not cooked at a high enough temperature for the flavor of the sauce to permeate it. The overall sense of the four items was the packaged blandness of a frozen TV dinner. I didn't think a restaurant could be as mediocre as Szechuan/Hunan in this neighborhood and survive. Very distressing, since they seem like lovely people.

have only eaten there once, but delivery is very consistent and good quality, def. recommended for anyone in center city west.

I ordered the general Tso's chicken. It was amazing. A more than generous portion of chicken. The delivery was super fast.

I used to order from a place just a few blocks from A Mandarin, when their food quality changed I was looking for a good place and I found it. A Mandarin is speedy with deliveries, the food is always hot and delicious, and they are always able to accommodate any special requests. I am now a regular when it comes to their food and I recommend it to all my friends :o)

My friends and I like this restaurant so much!! We have been there several times. It is the best Chinese restaurant in Philly.

Quality food at a good price...generous portions. Probably the best one out of all the ones I've been to here in Philly.
