I love this place!
On a coolish kind of day, I ordered their special soup filled with fresh vegetables, slices chicken and delectable noodles in a miso broth. Now I know what perfection is.

Poorest Chinese food I've ever eaten!
I was craving pan-fried noodles and this was one of the few restaurants who had pan-fried noodles on the menu. After waiting almost an hour for delivery, I was hungry and excited to tear into my food. The pan-fried noodles were drenched in sauce and soggy. I know that take-out pan-fried noodles tend to get soggy so I didn't hold that against them initially. However, when I tried them, they were bland and had a strange mushy consistency. I ate two bites and, even as hungry as I was, couldn't force myself to eat any more. I decided to see if the cold sesame noodles (which i had ordered to meet the delivery minimum and planned to save for tomorrow night's dinner) was any better. After removing the pungent cabbage and pickled vegetable mixture resting atop the noodles, I was eager to satiate my appetite, assuming there was no way they could mess up cold sesame noodles. Well, we know what happens when you assume...apparently the phrase is true. Unlike the previous dish, while these noodles were bland, they were more edible so I ate enough to quell my hunger and to avoid having wasted money on food I didn't eat. Finally, I reached into the bag for my fortune cookie, eased by the idea that I would at last have a familiar taste to end my meal. I took one bite and threw the rest away with my other food. A fortune cookie?!! How does even a fortune cookie taste wrong? Not only did it crumble in my mouth but it also tasted like it was made from some strange chemical. Overall, the poorest takeout experience I have ever had!! Next time I will know better than to try a new restaurant when there is nothing wrong with my usual Chinese takeout place.

Great Food, and it WAS OPEN Christmas Day
First of all, ALWAYS CALL THE RESTAURANT, to check the hours! This is a little gem of a place. The atmosphere is nothing much, but the food is fabulous, the waitstaff very courteous, and it's a bargain to boot. We don't do "take out" or "delivery", but the meal we had on Christmas Day in the humble "dining room" was marvelous. We shall return, and not only on a holiday when nothing else is open. Try it. You will like it.

Great food and great delivery!
Always on time, and super hot. The food is consistent and delicious. Have ordered a number of times and always a great experience. Also they deliver green tea ice cream. Dinner and dessert, can't beat that. Best green tea ice cream I have ever had!

Good, Inexpensive Chinese
I have ordered delivery from Mandarin a few times and the food never disappoints. It's inexpensive, delivery is quick, and the food is always tasty. Some of the best Chinese food I've had in Philly.

A Great Little Spot
Friendly staff, good service, good food. It is a great little restaurant. They will even work with you to prepare the dishes in a calorie conscious fashion. I can't wait to go back next time I am in town....
