    Good food but poor service

I went last night with a large party and the food was amazing. The all you can eat sushi for 21 dollars was awesome, all freshly prepared by the chef. The only draw back was the service. Several times I had to ask our server for even the smallest requests like another sushi card. She constantly ignored us and even gave horrible excuses and had a rude attitude. I asked her several times for a separate check with what i had ordered and she blatantly refused to listen to me.

have yet to get my order right

DO NOT order for pickup without checking what you got! They always forget the spicy sauce, and seem to have a problem getting your order right in general. The sushi is OK, but definitely not good enough to warrant giving this place your money.

    great food, subpar waitress!

Its so great to find an all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant in Philly, especially when its also a B.Y.O.B. The food is fantastic, some of the freshest sushi I've eaten, the pieces are perfect. However, in order to get this great food you need to deal with the waitress.. It seems she has no time for you even though you are the one tipping her. But here is the catch.......she automatically put her gratuity on the check! This policy is not posted anywhere in the restaurant which is ridiculous. But the food is great!

    my great three years

dude, my friends and I, we dined out all the time, but this is the only place that allowed us to be felt like at home. not to mention the all-u-can-eat deal, very reasonably priced, and good quality sushis, although we're all gonna be graduating soon, still we will be gathering at ajia when time allows

    Hello and Welcome!

I love Ajia. I have eaten here numerous times and have had a wonderful experience. You have a large array of maki to choose from as well as delicious appetizers and nutritious courses. My dining party and I frequently have the same server who greets us with a large pot of tea. We have always been welcomed warmly but this may be because we make sure to say hello when we arrive. Overall, Ajia is a superior place for the food and the price!

Good foog, not so good service!

Me and my friend went to aija yesterday. our first impression was really good, the dishes on other peoples plates looked very good and creative. However when we sat down it took the hostess 15 minutes to take our order and she was not really friendly. But the food made up for everything. I had the gyoza and the chicken udon, my friend had sushi and shrimp & chicken teriyaki. Everything was very delicious. So if you're just looking for great japanese food and dont care about the service this is a good place to go to.

    Most Awesomest!

I love Aja. I'm a large cat and it takes a lot to satisfy me... this place really does the trick!
