Golden Dragon Roll
If you get anything, get this roll. It was a fusion of flavors that was so good!

Very good
I've been to Aki twice now, and was quite pleased both times. The fancier maki can run up to $15 or so, but they're well worth the outlay, both in terms of quality and quantity (one order is probably enough to satisfy a normal appetite and palate). The more run-of-the-mill rolls are also ample in size and excellent in structure and flavor. The avocado salad is filling and delicious as well. The sake list is at least adequate, and the service is just fine. Overall, a most welcome addition to the neighborhood.

Quite happy
I enjoyed my recent meal at Aki. I considered going for the $25 all-you-can-eat option, but decided against it (by my calculation, you'd have to eat about 40 maki or sushi to make it worth your while). The specialty roll I did order (the Dynamite, if I recall correctly) was pretty delicious, if nowhere near as spicy as advertised. The avocado salad was plenteous and tasty, as were the pan-fried pork dumplings, though they were a little too wet still. The negimaki was fine, but could have used a little more sauce. Aki's prices are reasonable (about $6 for eight good-sized nonspecialty rolls, maybe $10-15 for the more elaborate stuff), the service is perfectly adequate, and the restaurant itself is inviting enough (although the tables are a little higher off the ground than they should be, and the decor is fancier than it needs to be). All in all, the place holds its own in a town blessed with a fair number of good or better sushi joints.

Great New Center City Sushi
This is a great place for sit down sushi (althouth take out is available). Their combo options are very filling and worth the price. The fish is very fresh and tastes delicious. Their ginger dressing is AMAZING...definitely the best ginger dressing I've had in a long time. The service is good and definitely a good lunch option. Enjoy!
