Great place
I have been to Alison two on two different occasions. Although the menu may seem pricey the quality and portion sizes are worth every penny. On one occasion I sat at the bar and shared the skate and a salad and it felt a full meal. We especially enjoyed the skate. The beer and wine selection are fabulous. I also had a French Pear which I loved. I will definitely return.

destination restaurant
January 17, our party of four dined at Alison Two. One couple dine frequently at Alison's; this was a first-time visit for the other couple - new Alison devotees. Three enjoyed sipping classic cocktails. Appetizers included: chopped salad, cauliflower soup and mussels. Our entrees: chicken, braised short ribs, grilled Wagyu skirt steak and whole branzino. From start to finish, an exceptional dining experience & attentive service. The diner who ordered chicken claims the dish outstanding, claiming "if a kitchen can prepare delicious, moist chicken, they know what they're doing." Alison Two is a destination and happily, for those who live in the suburbs, no need to venture into Philadelphia for an outstanding dinner in a gorgeous setting. Bon Appetit!

Great Addition to the Suburbs
My husband and I have been to Alison two several times. It is a great addition to the 'burbs. We feel like we're in Center City but with no traffic jam and free parking. I'd recommend the scallop, mushroom gnocchi, skate and lamb dishes. Great happy hour too.

Wonderful experience!
We dined at Alison Two on a Tuesday evening and really enjoyed it! I tried our server's suggestions of ginger fried squid appetizer and skate wing entree and both were tremendous! My wife had the chopped salad and the scallops and really enjoyed them both. The atmosphere was delightful. We sat on what felt like an enclosed porch and sat by a large window. It was nice to be able to sit in warmth but feel outside. The service was flawless from start to finish. Our server was very attentive and she always made sure to check our water and refill our wine. All in all, Alison Two is exceptional! A little pricey but worth every penny.

disappointing
I had been to her previous restaurant several times and had enjoyed my meals for the most part. However, it is clear to me that Ms. Barshak is in way over her head with her latest endeavor. You can tell that a lot of money went in to making the place look nice, but the food is mediocre. My meal consisted of dressed up, salty and overcooked fish. Needless to say, I was extremely disappointed. I was then told that comping my smeal was "absolutely out of the question!" And to top it all off, my dessert was stale. I don't mind paying high prices for quality food, but honestly, the food was subpar. Almost everyone I have talked to about this place has said the same thing. Mediocre food, subpar experience, high prices.
