Over priced and over cooked
Having viewed the "Well Done" signs all over the restaurant, we ordered a large pizza. Who gets a pizza medium rare anyhow? The pizza arrived burnt, black in spots on the bottom and the edges were black, like the coal they use in the coal fired oven. Pizza was also tasteless. My recommendation is to eat anywhere else.

Ok pizza
First off my issue is with the focaccia sandwich , the over use of arugula and no pesto spread on the bread. Also the sandwhich was to salty no balance in the flavor. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a good sandwich. Local pizza places are a much better value and more tastier .

If you want great pizza, you'll have to overlook many negatives
It's next to impossible to get thin crust pizza out in the 'burbs. So, I'm a fan of Anthony's pies and glad the company landed here. The pizzas are super thin, nicely seasoned, crispy, though sometimes black burnt. Anthony's considers that a-ok because "It's pizza well-done", remember). With the niceties out of the way, here's what I can't stand about the place: the tile floor and other hard surfaces that make the noise of dozens of screaming kids and loud conversation of grown ups unbearable...the inexperience of waitstaff that always leaves you waiting: you keep turning your head around wondering where your server is ... the painfully high prices (2 lg pies and a salad: $46)...and, if you're doing carry out, the ridiculously long time for them to get your order ready. (we were told an hour and a half one night). We don't go often because of these reasons. But, it sure is good tasting 'za.

Great Pizza - like the whole "burnt dough" thing
Our favorite pizza. Try the steak calzone.

Don't Listen to them...
Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza is OUTSTANDING, I work for a company that uses them on a regular basis and they are so genuine and helpful. Everyone from the Hostess to the Managers are very classy and polite. ESPECIALLY Kristina (with a K). This is the kind of place you can take the guys, take the family, or even take a date. Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza REDEFINES COOL & CLASSY for pizza...A+ Service A+Atmosphere A+Pizza A+Flavor this place is a slice above the rest. (pun intended)

Nice looking place but that's all
Let's see I called up ordered a pizza because I really wanted to try this place. I get there they didn't have my order so I waited I asked for X cheese and Pepperoni I got plain and they charged me almost 20 bucks. My hands are black from the junk off the bottom, the crust darn near busted a tooth and we had to add hot pepper flakes to give it a little taste. When I called to tell them they were no we charge that for our plain pizza. I wanted pizza not burnt dough if I didn’t live 4 miles away I would have taken it back and dumped it on their floor

First Time
I met a friend here last week for lunch. The service was good, the food was good also. I had a lunch sized pizza with pepperoni and she had the Italian Salad. She asked for chicken on the salad, which they were out of that day so she got meatballs instead. She said everything was good. Even the Yards Brawler I ordered on draft was fresh. Bonus points on that one. All in all we enjoyed our meal. I would definitely go back again.
