As background for a reference point, I've tried most of the other pizza places in Havertown over the years. For me, the sauce and crust are what is key. Prior to Apollo opening, Eagles Pizza has been my #1 place. Zesty sauce and crust a step above the bland crusts found on most local pizzas. Well, I now have to place Apollo Pizza along side Eagle. Their crust also is a cut above. As another poster mentioned, the sauce has sweet notes to it. A little tangy. Much better than the sauces that taste (and have the consistency) of something out of a can with a few spices added. I've never had to wait for a pizza when I call in my order. In fact, they seem to get done in less than the 20 minutes I'm always told. So if you like to get your pizza right out of the oven hot, show up a few minutes early. Anecdotal, but my neighbor (man) gives a slight edge to Eagle as I (man) do. Both our wives give the slight edge to Apollo. All of this is becuase of the sauce. You can't go wrong with either. I always get extra sauce from Apollo since it is so good. Enjoy!

I've eaten too much pizza over the years. This has a unique taste that is delicious, almost sweet but not sweet. Have to try it and you'll be hooked. Our family always goes here now for pizza. Also, prices are not bad, $11 and change for a large (they call extra large) with bacon. Friendly people take your money. Only negative is parking but not enough to make me go elsewhere.

Best pizza in Havertown hands down. Spinach special sandwich is great.

After trying all of the steak/pizza shops in Havertown--- we've found this place to have the best sandwiches.

Well, my man will only eat pizza steaks here! If we order from another place, he still has to order from Manoa - even if the drive is 40 minutes away. He tells me only Manoa makes it this way and every where So I have to say, the Pizza Steaks rule, even though I haven't tried them. I love the Hoagies, they are the best around and I love the green peppers!

Best Pizza in Havertown. This place has been around for about 2 years. The food is conisistantly good and the owners are extremely friendly. They have some good greek food as well. If your looking for a good local pizzeria, this is the best pizza in Havertown.
