Much Improved - Great in the "Valley"

Wonderful rigatoni bolognese - artichoke shrimp special - great salads - beautiful decor - new bar is a great asset - they try very hard to please and nine out of ten times they get it. lots of options - we really enjoy it - have been twice in the last couple of weeks. avoid noisy saturday and friday nights if you can.

    Not very good

Calamari - pretty good, which they cooked as requested (off menu), but the bruschetta bread was mushy. The service was good. It was not busy at all we assumed because it was a Sunday night. Unfortunately, the pasta was so over-sauced I couldn't identify the scallops and shrimp that were supposed to be in it and couldn't taste anything else, and the veal "medallions" was a tough veal patty, which was also very over-sauced. Dear Italian chefs: We know that you think all Americans drown their pasta in sauce, but they don't. I would not bother going back there.

Second Visit a Real Let Down

One waiter who NEVER really listened too busy flitting around- Party of 10; 3 Salmon dinners-one hugh portion, one okay, one a shadow of a piece of fish; all dry-over cooked, never could get the one waiter's attentiton to tell him anything. He never asked how food was. Inconsistent portions and plate finishes for all. Over priced for what was presented. Staff too busy looking chic and having photos taken. We won't be going back a third time. Just another FLASH in the pan.

    Another average joint

Fast service when you come in. We were 2 couple. Only once the waiter came back to ask if we needed anything. Had to get a refill from a dif. waiter. Very noisy. Just an average place

    Amazing and Awesome

Living in center city and my parents living in HV area; this is by FAR THE BEST RESTAURANT, best FOOD, and amazing menu...probably even beats most BYOB's in center city...5 stars!

Gem in the burbs- no need to trek into town for a good meal

After taking the time to drive into center city , risking traffic and finding parking only to be challenged to find a meal as good as Arugula makes staying in this northern suburb a great idea. First your greeted by one of their awesome hostesses, beautiful ladies, then Michael an owner operator, Maitre d', head waiter...give ahuge welcome and rattels off all their great dishes, fresh fish, pastas, seafood, steaks...BYOB, goo dfood and fun. Winning!
