avril
Thoughtful owners dedicated to the restaurant is clear from Avril's hostessing. The food is definately "home made." The problems were to many seasonings which were a bit too loud, and on one plate, too much salt (and I like salt). At the other extreme, a corn pudding was flfat in taste. The bread was great. The "strudel" was more like asweet crust over peaches. Every food we had was very rich, not the best choices for summer. Decent prices, small plate offerings and large ones so you have choices about being stuffed. I really hope they makit though, erhaps the chef will taste more before serving and do better, we need restaurants like this in the burbs.

needs help
Not sure where to start but first off the menu. Im not that familiar with french so I asked our waitress some questions to find out she knew less than I did. At this price point you would expect more (think Friday's service wise). Second the food. I can not say it was bad but did not live up to the menu description (small portions also). For the money there are to many other places that do a much better job in the service and food department.
