The wife and I went there as soon as it opened and continue to go there often. I disagree with the $$$ rating out of $$$$ possible, I find the food to be quite well priced for what you get. I'm very sorry that Paul had such a bad experience but I've never gotten anything that even approached that level of horror. Staff and chef are true pros and as friendly as you could want. BYOB, of course, and be prepared to hunt a bit for parking (DON'T park in the CVS lot...they get verrry nasty!) I think my 5-star rating is well deserved!

Food is superb, great service attitude. Vinnie and Jen are delightful and most personable.

Here's the bottom line. We got there and the waiter was nice. I ordered chicken parm and it was raw. I eat my chicken parm from the outside in. I ate half of it. As I got to the middle I noticed that the meat was getting way too tender. Another person at the table actually told me that the meat was raw. I looked down and picked up one of the breaded cutlets and it was completely raw. The waiter took it off our bill and eventually just tore up our check. We really wanted to like this place but had a horrible experience.

Good solid food in a decent atmosphere. Was busy on a Friday night but not so busy we needed reservations. We were waited on by the lovely owner who was obviously passionate about his establishment and the food. Totally made the night. Food is good, was hoping for great, but it is Mt Airy not Italy. If you want a fun evening with decent food and BYO in the NW this is a good one.

Predictable and homey Italian food. Would return for the antipasto platter alone!
