My secret Spot.. Shhhhh!
Beneluxx is hands down my favorite kept secret in Philadelphia. I am always looking to impress my friends with fun, new, trendy spots for drinks, dinner, etc. This place is perfect. Tucked away and easily passed by... Beneluxx has an incredible assortment of beers, wines, cheeses, chocolates (I could go on) for anyone's palate. Everything is served in sampling sizes, so go ahead and try something new each time until you find something you LOVE! My favorite little spot. Can be fun with the girls, romantic with a significant other, or just a spot to show off your sophisticated side. Prices are really good too! MUST COME HERE!! But SHHHH... try to keep it a secret!

Wine bar with a corner deli feel
You'll find none of the usual trappings of a wine bar here. No plush seats, dim lights, polished wood or other upscale frippery. What you will find is dedication to the really important things: beer, wine, cheese and chocolate. Tiny little samples, from all over the world, for about 1.50 an ounce. So go ahead try the truffles, the port, and that rare wine varietal. Theres no reason to be shy, neither the atmosphere nor the price will get in your way. Note: Beneluxx has only just opened in November...so the staff is occasionally lost and lunch hours have yet to be established. But with a bit more practice this promises to be a true gem of Old City.

Nicely done tasting Room
Although you shouldn't expect to get a full meal here, the tasting room is a great idea for the obese, who really shouldn't have a full meal. They have a nice selection of beer and wine, however for a tasting room the wine list is "on the thin side." The food itself is very good, I recommend the rabbit and the duck.
