I was in town on business this past week and finally had my fill of Philly seafood (which is wonderful, by the way). So I decided on my last night in town to have something different. This place was not too far my hotel and it had an interesting mention. I really enjoyed the nice hot rolls. It's becoming rarer and rarer these days to get bread that hot and fresh. I must have had at 4-5 of those rolls! I order the veal saltimbocca and it was surprisingly delciious. It was prepared with a creamy Marsala sauce that I especially enjoyed. The portion of veal was quite generous although a tad overcooked. I ate every bit of though! The side of pasta I barely touched although it was good. I'm not Italian and have just never gotten used to a "side" of pasta that ends up the size of a whole other meal! I rarely ordered dessert but the chocolate "Bomba" was just calling my name. It was a chocolate and vanilla ice cream ball covered in a hard chocolate coating and then quartered and served with chocolate sauce and a maraschino cherry. Yum!!! It reminded me of a wonderful "tartuffo" dessert that I had at Ferraro's in Littly Itally in NY years ago. The service was very good and the atmosphere very family oriented. Lots of people were ordering their brick oven pizza which looked great and which I will have to try on my next visit (along with another helping of Bomba!),
