Bishops Collar is a great place to watch games and eat nachos and bar foods. Always nice to get a table outside and watch the people go by.

The food is overpriced, drinks are overpriced and the service seems biased and slow.

I must say that the Bishop's Collar has become our new favorite place. Not only is the food fantastic and inexpensive, but the service is spectacular. The waitstaff is quick and very friendly and the bartenders are ALL fantastic! We've been to many bars and they all have their good and not so good bartenders. But not this one. Every single bartender here is great! Mike, Jeanie, Phoebe, John, Pat (and he just fills in)...every one...just awesome. And the owner Jeff can be seen in his establishment socializing with everyone. One of the coolest bar-owners you'll ever meet. Just one of the guys. Very cool. And the crowd is very diverse. Anyone would feel very comfortable and welcome the moment they walked through the front door. A wonderful neighborhood bar. But, if I had to, I would travel out of my neighborhood to go to this place. They also have great outdoor seating now that the weather is improving. Go!

Low price for very decent food, and probably the quickest service I've seen in a while. I really don't know how they made that great food so fast. Also as mentioned a good beer selection is available too. If I lived in the neighborhood I would probably eat there twice a week.

I have only been once and I was pleasantly surprised by the food value and service. I sat outside because I had my dog and it was the first warm day of spring. The one thing I really remember was that we paid very little for a good meal; I had the Roasted Veggie Sandwich and my husband had the Steak Sandwich (mentioned in another review). I will definitely go back!!!!

The veggie burgers are all wonderful, topped with spinach and mushrooms. Skip the veggie chips and opt for the fries with old bay. Also check out the flank steak sandwich on french bread with fried onions and provolone. Good beer selection, friendly bartenders and servers. Very affordable.
