This restaurant was recently named second most romantic spot in February of 2007. Atmosphere - Not romantic at all. It was extremely cramped, and you could easily hear all conversations around you. Food - Food was adequate. We had one fish entree and a steak entree. We requested the meat be cooked medium and it came out rare & tough. The namesake dish, blackfish, was good, but I was expecting more based on previous reviews. Service - Service was average at best. Too many waiters and waitresses in such a cramp setting. The tables were about 12 to 15 inches away from each other. Miscommunication between the service led to confusion with our order. Value - Too pricey for mediocre food, service and not quite the atmosphere as advertise. Overall, my wife and I eat out often, and you can tell when some restaurants have an "off night" but in this case, I would not expect things to improve if we visit again.

Nice, relaxing but not an outstanding atmosphere.
