Fantastic
If you love sushi, or any kind of Asian seafood, you are in for quite a treat. I can honestly say this is the best Japanese food I've ever eaten. And even better now with the newer, bigger location. Try the hamachi cheek, ask for it when you first sit down as they tend to run out of it fairly quickly.

A True Gem!
We had Blue Fin last night it was amazing. The sushi is fresh, the atmosphere is crisp and clean. This is a true gem tucked away in a strip mall. It seems like every time I have lunch or dinner from here my love affair grows deeper. I try not to get sushi from any where else. I think I might have to even slip back there today for lunch. With Blue Fin you can't go wrong.

Rip Off
This place totally jumped the shark! The old spot was great you could never get in, the service was good, the place was nice and cozy. We got in the new place no ploblem on a Friday. My sashimi platter for $30 was worth $10. This place is way over priced! Greed is not good

Amazing Quality
Not want you would think of for strip mall sushi. Tasted better than most fine japanese restaurants. Busy lunch time crowd. Fish very fresh and soft, rice perfectly cooked. Had the Sundae appetizer - out of this world. Good fish to rice ratio.

disappointed
Previously one of the best sashimi restaurants for quality and value it has been a great let down. New premises are posh but the service and quality of Sashimi has taken a nose dive. The Toro tuna was not Toro cuts at all , even generally good belly salmon and uni were just so so. It was to be an introduction of our brother to a great Japanese restaurant and it fell flat. I hope this is a temporary set back from the move. We cannot go back in present state

Best sushi ever had
I'm a sushi fanatic and have had sushi from all over and Bluefin is the best sushi no doubt! I recommend Bluefin to everybody and anybody on a daily basis! If you hadn't had it yet i suggest you go asap!

Definitely a must try...
This place is definitely a must try! I would have to say that I disagree that it is the best place in the state, it's more along the lines of the best place in the area (Norristown/Plymouth Meeting) outside of Philadelphia. There are more enjoyable places in the city where the sushi, service & atmosphere are top notch!! Blue Fin is definitely worth a try if you don't feel like traveling into the city.
