My favorite to come home to
Whenever I return to Bucks County this is the first place I want to eat. I can't find a replacement for it in any of the major cities I've lived in. Although I think the prices are reasonable for the quality and preparation, if you're looking for a better deal try coming for lunch. My favorites have been El Fino, anything with mushrooms, and the fun and spicy plaintain/black bean/mango appetizer. Service has never been a problem for me, but if you're not interested in waiting, call for takeout!

Who needs meat?
Came here with a friend and we both enjoyed our meal immensely. This is vegetarian food done well and done right. First thing to know, this place is TINY so be prepared to wait on a weekend. The wait is worth the food is fresh, seasonal, healthy, and delicious. I can still taste the fresh figs the chef added to my plate as an add-on because they "looked good at the market" that day. Can't wait to go back.

Good... but could be better
Having gone to Blue Sage more than several times over the years, I can say the following: The food is prepared well, the place is clean, and service is very good. The problem I have is the menu as a whole. The entrees never seem to really deliver, and the menu seems to have barely changed in the past four years. The falafel wrap used to be a favorite of ours, but the recipe changed, it has a weird, gritty flavor. The desserts leave room to be desired- again, they don't quite hit the sensations you'd expect from a dessert. If it wasn't for the appetizers and "casual" section, we wouldn't go to the establishment.

Good Food-Wait Staff Snobby
I first came here with business associates not long after they opened. I met the owner then who was friendly and accommodating. The food was very good and somewhat pricey for the location. Several months later, and relying on the past experience, I took other business associates there for lunch. The food was still good. The wait staff seemed curt now that they were busier. Then the last time I went with my wife in June of 09. I can't tell you what the food was like because the wait staff was so rude that my wife and I left not long after we were seated. The place was packed and if the wait staff served a couple of more dinners it just didn't seem to matter that much.

The Best!
Forget Moosewood, we have Blue Sage. This remarkable restaurant has clean tasting, fresh looking and absolutely delicious food. I always get something to go when I am there, and I never tire of going there. It's about time a restauranteur figured out that not EVERYONE has to have a steak or a chicken breast!
