    Try the homemade gnocchi!

I've been to this restaurant a few times within the past month and each time I go, the menu has changed with the addition of several new items as well as alterations to previous dishes I love the variety to choose from...everything from pizza, tuna tar tar, risotto, fried artichokes, homemade gnocchi (yes the pasta is all homemade), to freshly made chips and salsa...all pretty decent and you can tell the plates were arranged with a lot of attention to detail and effort. Go for dinner, and then by 10 or so, the place transforms into a chic and classy hot spot in the center of Old City. I went with a friend the other day and we got about 6 things which ended up costing roughly $50. Not bad at all for a place on Market Street! Oh, and stay for the cocktails!!

    great "beef"

After reading the philly weekly review, i had to try it. Stopped in for dinner and drinks and was very impressed. Food and drinks are very good. Also a very impressive wine list that is not over priced. You must stop into bocca and try the beef and fried olives the watermelon basil is AMMAZING. Do not listen to the previous reviews. They are simply being harsh on a new establishment trying to make it in old city during these bad economic times. THUMBS UP

    Not worth a cent

The menu looked interesting so I stopped in with a friend. Poor idea. The bouncer/host offered us free shots when we sat, which turned into rudeness from our waitress and abrupt treatment from the manager. After a second complaint to the manager he finally gave us a round of free shots as was originally promised, but by the end my friend and I were uncomfortable and embarrassed by the whole situation. Beyond that the tapas we had were very unimpressive for the price. The manager also sat at one of the outdoor tables with a group of his friends smoking. I know it was outdoor tables, but I thought this wasn't allowed....one of them had a reeking cigar as well.

Not worth your time, better places in old city

I ate here last night with a group of friends and we were all disappointed in the food and service. The portions were small even for tapas, the food was bland, and took forever to come out of a empty restaurant. On top of it, our server was subpar. She would push food, but take plates away within minutes of serving sometimes without even asking if we were done. Even if she did ask, it was a constant interruption in our meal. For the high price, the food and service are not up to par. I would not go here again and believe it was much better before its reinvention.
