My sister, brother, his girl firend and I went last Sunday Valentine Day . we made reservations. The place was packed. we were made to feel right at home the minute we sat down. They brought us a bucket of ice to put the wine we brought in. The waitstaff was outstanding and most helpful. The food was to die for great portions and delicious. we all had different things to eat and not one of us had a complaint. we were there almost for 2 hrs. with no one rushing us. we left there satisfied and full'

On Valentine's Day, 2009, my boyfriend and I decided to try Bocelli. When we arrived to an overcrowded restaurant, we were told that because I didn't call back on Thursday, they had given up our table, even though they definitely didn't call me and had made up this ridiculous lie.

Had the occasion to visit Chestnut Hill while attending a concert at St. Paul's Episcopal Church - took a chance on this Italian restaurant because the other choices seemed expensive (Osaka, Cuba) and we could bring our own wine (always a plus). What a surprise we had - fabulous appetizers(the Shrimp Bisque was to die for) and after the seven of us had ordered (each [select]ing a different entree) we spent the rest of the meal passing plates back and forth swearing we each had ordered the best meal. We've decided it may be worth the 2 1/2 hour drive to return to Bocelli's. Wait staff was outstanding, only down side was they did not have a credit card program, we had to pay cash (but after bringing our own wine, the bill didn't amount to that much). Loved it!

Can't begin to express what an poor time we had. The server was very nice, the place looked nice, but overall a huge disappointment. The staff started to smoke before we were even offered dessert. Also, the music was turned off at 10:15. It was completely obvious they wanted us outta there.

The food is amazing! It is not your same old italian food. I had the chicken Marsala and it was the best I ever had!

Great place, great food, intersting waiter, awesome place.
