Good food but disappointed
We had a reservation for 8pm for a party of 4. We waited for an hour at the doorway.......letting people in and out because there is no other place to wait at. We got seated at 9pm and the restuarant closes at 10pm. We got some aperitivos......mussles in red and white.....nothing special, stuffed mushrooms.....okay and salad...salad..ok.2 strip steaks.okay, carciofo...okay....service was good. again, food was okay but was the wait worth all that?? sorry, Not for us....oh yeah, forgot this part...brought wine and the glasses that was given to us had lipstick stains on them!!! if not that, they were chipped!! one day, maybe try again....just to give it a try again.

Our First Choice, Every Time
My wife and I found this place a dozen years ago and have come here at every opportunity. There's nothing fancy about the decor or atmosphere: It's a cozy, neighborhood BYOB that only takes cash and that's so down-home you can feel a little like you've wandered into someone else's party. And it's a small family business, so on busy nights don't expect lots of attention or lightning service. But for consistently fantastic food in big quantities at low prices, there's no place we've ever found that can match it. After finding this place, we rarely want to go anywhere else. We dread the day that Frankie and Pat decide to hang up their aprons.

Good food, slow service
My first visit to Bona Cucina was less than stellar due to the extremely slow service. Be prepared to wait and wait and wait. Had reservations for 6:30 and did not leave until close to 9. Soup came out right before dinner was served. We were given wrong soda and waitress made it seem like it was our fault. With that being said, loster bisque, gravy, stuffed flounder and pasta with crab/shrimp was great. Tiramisu was to die for. Food was great, but sevice sucks...big time!

Our favorite place ever...
My boyfriend found this place in the new paper three valentines days ago and we decided to try it out, and its been our favorite place ever since then and make an excuse to get there for any excuse possible, including writing this review! I can't tell you how many times we have been there since with friends and family. The owners run the resturaunt from top to bottom and it shows. The food is always delicious my only choice (also trying many of my boyfriends!) being chicken napalatano and a side of home made linguine and rosa sauce, perfecto!

Great Food Great Service
My family has been going here for years best kept secret in Delaware County. They do a great job! We enjoy it every time we go there. Whether it's just me and my wife, the family or a group for a celebration we always have an awesome meal. BYOB keeps price down and feel like you are at Grandmoms with a hint of home atmosphere

Great food, Great value
It had been a long time since we were there. Just went on a Wednesday night. Food and Service were outstanding. I had the seafood over pasta, W had the veal oscar. Portions were huge we took home enough food for another full dinner. We will be back very soon. Great "old school" place. I love the fact that it lacks all the glitz of the current GX restaurants. Nice patrons and friendly service, reminds me of an old time South Philly restaurant but with better food. I can't wait to get there again.
