Bottom of the Sea

i'm a regular customer and my order is usually great. my food was delicious 3 days ago. but tonight, the shrimp were old. they didn't taste as fresh as usual and my order took over 1 & 1/2 hrs. to get here. the corn, potato, & broccoli were good. they can do much better!!

Me and my wife was at the bottom of sea on 41 n Lancaster ave about a month ago. I had just got off of work and i was very hunger and tired. so we went there to get some food. the cashier was a very nice young lady.although it took forever to get our food.this young lady was nice. she talk to me and wife, apologize for our wait gave us some water for our wait and she was very respectful because of her i would go back to this store again!!!!

Dinner on a Saturday evening with a lady friend, was seated fairly quickly, fairly priced good cocktails, friendly, and courteous, smiling, waiter by the name of Hector, food was fresh, plentiful, and great tasting. My lady friend and I both ordered the "crab and mussel fettucini alfredo " and both were very pleased. Will definitely return again and would recommend Hector for great service.

A friend recommended this restaurant to us in 2003 when it was the shack near Fairmont. We took the bus to Philly just to check out the restaurant since then every year not just my husband and I but my two sons, their friends and just about anyone who come to Penn Relay with us goes to Bottom of the Sea. The food is excellent all steam, the seafood is fresh and plentiful. I find the owners and helpers very courteous and cordial. I recommend placing your order by phone before you get there. For us it is an annual seafood treat after Penn Relay and now we can even sit and eat inside. On our first visit we had to eat outside. Keep up the good seafood Bottom of the Sea!! I feel this way as I am strickly a seafood eater, no meat for me!

Me and my wife have been goin there for a while now and i have to say out of all the bottom of the sea's i went to they have the best fried shrimp and crab cake i love this place :]

I represent bottom ofthe sea...Please knowthat most of these reviews are in reference to south street, which is no longer a bottom of the sea restaurant...only in name, with legal status pending...we truely apoligize for any lack of service. I placed a order on 3/12/2010 for my lunch with my co-workers and the total bill came to 90.00 of which my sandwich was not in the order, when I noticed, I contacted the business and was told that they will come right back with my order. I continued to wait for over 1 1/2 for my food but did call twice in between and was told again the the driver will be here in a minute. Of course my lunch hour was over. I called back and spoke with Manager who was rude and explained to him that I wanted my money back he said that he had to call the driver to come back to get the money and bring it back. he said "you have to be patience cause we have other orders we have to deliver"... this is the poorest customer service I have ever experienced and I whould never recommend this place to anyone !
