    don't bother

Had dinner here last night and it was restaurant week. We were rushed through our dinner the entire time. Our waiter actually said there are people waiting outside in the cold for your table! How is that our fault? Food was good but could not relax and enjoy the company of friends. Isn't that the point of breaking bread together? Will not return. There are too many other great restaurants in Phila.

    Fall from Grace

Bronzino used to be one of our favorite phila restaurants. This is a perfect example of bigger not being better. While the size of their building has grown, their service, menu, and food portions have significantly shrunk!! Our party of eight celebrating a birthday event was shoved in to such a tight table ,we could barely move. the service was horrendous, in that we had to ask for serivce for drinks other than the wine we brought--did she think our 12 year old diner was drinking the wine??? The menu selections are significantly less, and the size of portions left us all hungry. Our veal shank had about enough for 4 bites on it!!!What a disappointment--never again.

    A hidden gem

I had such a wonderful meal there last night. Everything was perfect. The secret garden in the backyard was so beautiful. A must for anyone who lives or is visiting Philadelphia Center City.

    Too pricey

Recently moved from NY and ordered 2 pasta dishes for takeout. Food was good, sausage was dry and portions were small and over priced.

    Flawed Quality

I think our waiter was more suited to be a funeral director. He lacked any charm or warmth. We had requested a table upstairs and when we arrived, we were denied any table upstairs, without any apologies. The tables on the main floor are adjacent to the bathroom - not very appetizing. Our table was too small for 4 people with BYOB, and too close to the other tables. Three out of the four dishes were excellent. Waiter refused to take responsibility for bringing the wrong dessert to the table.

    Excellent Pasta, Evil Server

Seriously great food, a nice neighborhood BYOB, but don't let anyone one in your party byob a bottle of beer, because the server discriminate, ignore several requests for the glass, and eventually wait on every table except for yours. Server needs some basic human training. Thanks to the Chef, but we can't return, too many comparable places in Rittenhouse with decent service.

    service and food was excellent

My branzino was superb. other dishes looked good too. Service was excellent for 6 people on Sat night. The byob crowd on a Sat is always noisier in a small restaurant. Overall a good experience.
