The Best on South Street
I also visited the Brauhaus for the first time Saturday night. I thought the place was authentic. I remember bars in Germany that way. The food was excellent and Beer was plenty. I have raved about the place to everyone I know. And I can't wait to go again.

Will go back again and again
This place was awesome. The food is great, the beer is great (try the Pumpkinator)., and the atmosphere was great. Our server, Hannah, was wonderful and has a very playful and fun attitude. My only complaint is that it did get a little crowded and hard to move around downstairs. I didn't see the upstairs, but I assume it's just a dining room. This was my first visit, but I will return again and again!!

Great beer selection, so-so atmosphere
The beer selection here is awesome. So many german beers. The Gaffel Kolsch brought me back to Cologne, Germany, drinking near the cathedral. Good selection of Oktoberfest beers as well. Get the Pumkinator this month! The ambience is not what I expected. I expected more of a beer garden atmosphere as in the beer gardens in Brooklyn. It just wasn't anything special, a typical bar vibe wiht a few hints of Germany on the wall. Of course the waitresses were decked out in the usual beer hall garb. I hope they have a garden for the summer months!
