I went this past Sunday with my parents for a spin on Easter dinner. My mom is a huge German food fan, and as I expected, it did not disappoint. Our server Guy, was the most well-informed, knowledgable, and friendly server I've encountered - and I'm in the biz. He was on point with recommendations for beer, food, after dinner drinks, and dessert. My dad and I split the Butchers Plate for Two and it was fantastic. My mom was endlessly impressed and we all plan to come back soon. Craig LaBan wasn't kidding on his take on the pork shank. I strongly recommend it to anyone (and it's on the plate for two, which is a huge bonus). Can't wait to go back.

Being german myself I love to get the "just-like-home-feeling" and so I went to my yearly Brauhaus-trip for an early dinner and what a disappointment. so I order some traditional german oldie-but-goodies and what I receive from the kitchen was really mediocre... I do know what a good knoedel taste like and the one I got had a kinda-package-taste to it... the hunter-gravy it came with was lumpy and very taste-less... the spaetzle with gypsy-sauce came with potato-pieces in it, it did clearly not say that on the menu (and who puts 2 different starches in one meal?) real nuernburger bratwurst does not come in a meter or half a meter-option btw... the highlight of my stay was the service (very attentive) and to be fair - the Kartoffelpuffer were actually pretty good... overall an experience I'm not going to repeat... next time I will have a good steak :)

Been stopping in at Brauhaus, for the last 9 months. This place has the freshest, best beer I have ever had, I used to love Becks, no longer, the German Beers that I have tried there far surpass anything at any other Bar. Black lagers from Munich, Kolche Beer from Cologne. I am now and will always be a great fan of this establishment. Except for a decidely Anti America thought process from a few (not all)staff members, its beer selection is the best. If only they realized they are in America, not Europe. But as far as a great Beer selection goes they have the best. These Belgium Beer Bars are not in the same class as a true German Bar!

Probably the best German food in the US... Can get a bit crowded and noisy on weekends.

I went here yesterday for lunch with my girlfriend. The food was a bit pricey but a lot of food comes with each order. The food was very "rustic", which isn't a bad thing and spiced heavily with caraway, as is customary of German cuisine. Overall the food was only slightly above average.

I also visited the Brauhaus for the first time Saturday night. I thought the place was authentic. I remember bars in Germany that way. The food was excellent and Beer was plenty. I have raved about the place to everyone I know. And I can't wait to go again.

This place was awesome. The food is great, the beer is great (try the Pumpkinator)., and the atmosphere was great. Our server, Hannah, was wonderful and has a very playful and fun attitude. My only complaint is that it did get a little crowded and hard to move around downstairs. I didn't see the upstairs, but I assume it's just a dining room. This was my first visit, but I will return again and again!!
