Bridgetown Mill House Inn – Langhorne, PA On October 5, 2013, I hosted a rehearsal dinner for 49 people at this charming restaurant. From hors d’oeuvres to dessert, we received outstanding service and remarkable food. The owner, Kim, actively manages the restaurant, while her husband, Russell, is the chef extraordinaire. They are both friendly and engaging professionals that strive for excellence. They make sure you’ll have a memorable dining experience, for sure. They and their staff do a fantastic job. Kim provided ample, courteous, attentive servers, and bartenders. We didn’t wait for anything all night. I just can’t say enough about the incredible service and food. GOOGLE the name to see their web site. The pictures look exactly like the restaurant. This is a cool inn. They also have an outside bar that our group enjoyed, stocked with all the liquors/wines anyone could want – first class. The portions of food were plentiful, especially the desserts. The dining room was tastefully illuminated while the glasses, dishes and silverware sparkled. Everything is extra clean and inviting. Inside are several fire places to add a romantic ambiance. So if you’re looking to celebrate an anniversary, or special occasion, choose this lovely Inn and you won’t be disappointed. Entrées range from $21 (chicken) to $31 (filet Mignon). A very quixotic atmosphere, I must say. Finally, be sure to do yourself a favor and pretend you’re rich - eat here at very reasonable prices.

My wife, daughter, and I came to this restaurant for dinner on Valentine's Day, looking for great food in a wonderful atmosphere, and we were not disappointed. The menu gave us the angst of overchoice. We all started with classic Caesar salads, and my wife had a jumbo shrimp cocktail. For entrees, I had scallops served with a lobster risotto that contained several large chunks of lobster meat. My wife had airline chicken, which is a French cut of breast with leg and wing attached, in a delicious sauce, along with cranberry-infused red cabbage. My daughter had a filet mignon that was mouth-wateringly delicious. Our desserts were wonderful: flourless chocolate cake with fudge center, delicious creme brulee, and a pecan tart full of pecans and not cloyingly sweet. Having read some reviews critical of the service, I watched the service carefully. It really was quite good, only a little slower paced than I would consider ideal. I've noticed that my family typically spends two hours at a fine restaurant; here we spent two and a quarter. I do wonder whether some of the other reviewers knew what to expect in this class of restaurant (and their grammar errors make me quite suspicious of their qualifications). The wine menu was indeed overpriced, but our wine was delicious. The rest of the prices were about right. We were fortunate enough to be seated in the dining room with an exposed beam ceiling and a brick floor; a large fireplace with a small wood fire added to the wonderful feeling of this room. A classical guitarist gave us background music for part of the evening, although in my opinion he quit too early. All in all, if you are looking for a restaurant in the highest category, with superb food and ambiance, come to this Inn and plan to enjoy a leisurely evening over delicious food.

Love this Place.....Excellent food and excellent service. It's the one place where you can enjoy your meal in a relaxing atmosphere. Appetizers are able to be enjoyed before the main course it brought out. (Unlike other places that bring all your food out at one time.)The wait staff is very attentive. The menu changes with the seasons. It's great to see the twists put on the main courses depending on the time of year. Had the chef's tasting menu.....fabulous (much better than the chef's tasting menu at La Croix downtown)... As far as those complaining about the pricing...hello...it's not TGI Fridays. If you love crabcakes....you have to try them....all crab....little to no filler!

We finally made in to a place I've been interested in trying for some time. Sadly, it was underwhelming. Nothing outstandingly wrong or bad, but nothing to substantiate the prices and atmosphere put forward. There a bit of an aire of pretense and the prices (except a few mediocre wines which were marked 4x) which are truly city. For $210 for two I truly expect better, more properly paced service and food that doesn't, just make it. One and done.

Beautiful atmosphere, extremely attentive service and absolutely outstanding food. Not sure why previous reviews were soo bad. I've been there numerous times and have always had the same wonderful experience.

The Bridgetown Mill Restaurant has the absolutely beautiful and romantic setting. Infortunately, neither the food quality nor the prices meet the expectations. After having a dinner with my family at this restaurant we left it very unsatisfied with the food although this evening happened to be quite costly.
