    One of my Favorites

I have been to Buddakan several times and I am never dissapointed. The most recent visit was a night out for my birthday. We had reservations, and were seated immediately. The server took our drink order and brought our cocktails with hardly any wait. We ordered the Kobe Beef Satay as an appetizer to split. The sauce was amazing and the beef was nice and tender, if not slightly over cooked. For the entree, I ordered the Mongolian BBQ Beef shortrib with a side of the Lobster Fried Rice. The beef was vert tender and fell off the bone. The sauce that it came with was very flavorful, but a little sweet. So good. My girlfriend ordered the Wasabi Crusted Filet.. medium rare. It came out perfectly cooked and was delicious. We split the Creme Brulee for desert. Also very good. I love this place. I only ever had a problem when I went to the Atlantic City location. That one was not half as good as the Center City location.

Rush to Buddakhan But Don't Rush Us!

The food is superb! The atmosphere is delightful! Is it possible for a waitstaff to be too attentive? We loved Buddakhan but our waiter rushed our guts out! Please take heed. Allow us to eat in piece and enjoy every delicious bite!

Greatest Asian Food I Ever Tasted!

Expect to pay a lot when you go in but you will have an amazing meal. The food is unbelievable and the atmosphere is elegantly delightful. I highly recommend this place. It is what you should expect of a Steven Star restaurant.

    Amazing

I have been to buddakan numerous times and have never been disappointed in any of their service or food. This time around we had the edamame ravioli, grilled octopus, and tuna pizza to start. All there were just incredible. I cannot wait to go back and have more. My boyfriend had the Kobe beef and I had the filet mignon. We both shared our entree's and they also did not disappoint. Another great experience to add to the list of many at Buddakan. I cant wait to go back

    Best restaurant in Philly

After a few visits Buddakhan has become our favourite spot for special occasions -food is always great with plenty of healthy choices and service-very professional and friendly, without too much familiarity. They certainly know what they are doing. We love the calamari appetizer-get the small size- enough for 2, and their sides of eggplant and wasabi mashed potatoes are to die for. For drinks we like the tickled pink, but Geisha is even better. Sorbets are perfect, but my absolute fav is the chocolate pagoda-enough to share and take home. Absolutely the best in the city!

    Once was enough

Pretentious, bland, overpriced food, but very attentive service. Visually striking although I do wonder if a restaurant in India with a huge crucifix of Jesus planted smack in the middle would go unremarked the way the oversized Buddha in this place does.

    Go for drinks

The drinks are excellent, but the menu is not very exciting. The tuna was bland, and the sushi roll was pretty generic as well. The wasabi mashed potatos did not have a kick. The decor was alright. I think the best feature is the waterfall wall in the entrance. So go for drinks if you are in the neighborhood but not worth the trek when out of town.
