the food at bugaboo is always great! steaks are excellent,service is good, the astmosphere is outstanding!

I recently had the same experience with the sirloin tips being 1/2 edible and 1/2 hard gristle and fat. It took 20 minutes (actual, not seemed like) just to get a drink after we were seated. After waiting for the worst steak dinner ever, I told our waitress how bad it was. She told me she would get the manager, who apparently felt we weren't worth coming to talk to and that we would be happier having a free dessert sent to us. We weren't. To make things worse... there are stuffed animal heads mounted on the walls that start talking every 10 minutes?? making an otherwise nice dining atmoshere into a Wally World meets Chuck E Cheese kind of place.

My husband & I ordered a steak. However the meat was in pieces with garlic mash potatoes. The meat appeared to be a pot roast fashion. Half of the meat was delicious and the other half was stingy & fatty. The server, Ken was excellent. He wanted to give us another one. However, we both said, "No." We just did not want to go through the same process again. So we ordered an vanilla and chocolate soufle with oreo cooky topping. It was delicious. When we receive our bill, the waiter took off the amount for the desert because first the steak was rare, then part of it was fatty & stringy. He told me the regular chef was on vacation. He told me what to order next time. Even thought the steak was not that good, it was negated due to the extreme understanding of the server, Ken. I commend him. We will be back there to order filet mignon.

Love this place! Great atmosphere, like a lodge cabin and very spacious, no tables close together. Service is prompt and good. Never had anything there to eat that I didn't like. My favorites are the rainbow trout and snowboard chicken platters. You get a lot of food and very fresh and tasty.

Great Black Magic Steak & great wings. Service is always friendly. This is a great place to bring guests who are visiting, as the atmosphere is rustic and entertaining. Food portions are satisfying and tasty.
