Food fine; service inconsistent; atmosphere scary
I wanted a treat myself to a nice dinner before seeing a show in Philadelphia. There were other places I wish I had gone. My waitress was very friendly and accomodating which was the best part. The food was fine. They committed one of my biggest restaurant faux-pax though -- serving the next course without even checking to see if I'm done with the previous course! I HATE sitting at a table with multiple plates in front of me (how embarrassing!). It's even worse when the waitstaff doesn't recognize the error! The worst part is the atmosphere. Bump is located on a street corner in the gay-borhood (which is fine) where there are many punks hanging out in front. When you walk in and look at the bar patrons, you get the feeling some of the "street corner vendors" have slipped in through the front door (which is not fine). Would not go back. Will go to Ungerground at Camac, Knock or others before going back to Bump.

You'll Love It
$3 martinis everyday from 5-7! You cannot beat that. Their food is very good as well - the filet mignon is delis! Plus, its gay-friendly!
