Everything was great!
I have been to this restaurant several times and the food here is wonderful. I love the BBQ spare ribs, the cabbage is to die for and the lemon cake melts in your mouth. I have tried pretty much everything on the menu at least once and haven't been disappointed yet. Butter's Soul Food to Go is definitely worth it!

Great find in the heart of the city
I went here after searching on Menupages and reading the prior review. I must say the food is well prepared, flavorful, and fresh. I enjoyed everything I had with the exception of the mac and cheese. Turkey chops were so tender I was able to cut them with my plastic fork! String beans were the best I have tasted and I come from a long line of cooks. If your looking for good soul food at a exceptionally reasonable price then please patronize this business. Insider tip! Call ahead and then pick up your order...Food is cooked and prepared to order! Great food and I will definitely be back for more! Oh, the tea is giving another notable Philly soul food restaurant some hefty competition! I found a new soul food spot, that is well worth it!

Great Food
The food is awesome and blew my mind the first time I tasted it. It's the best soul food in Philadelphia.
