worth the wait
While visiting Philadelphia from Charlotte, my family and I decided to try some of Philly's famous eateries. We were first disappointed by Geno's on the cheesesteak. So we decided to try some soul food and it was worth the wait(25min) when we visited Butter's. I had smothered turkey chops which were the bomb. As a matter of fact all of the food was great.

Good Food!
After much searching, my hubby and I decided to try the cuisine at Butters and I am so glad we did. The food was great, it was a decent amount (we were so content and so full) and the price was very reasonable. The food was seasoned very well from the greens to the meats to the sides to the dessert. It is a nice little place, quaint, good atmosphere to wait while food is being prepared. The staff was nice, attentive, funny and knowledgeable. We will definitely order take out from here again and we recommended other soul food lovers to do the same.

Good Food!

Brings the best to the Table
I live in the Wash., DC area and needed a Caterer for an event in Phila., with nothing to go on but pure instinct, I selected Butters. This company blew our guest and myself away, Food, Service, and all the personal touches. Butters made the entire event a delicious, delightful Blessing.

Amazing
The food is amazing. Catfish dish and the fried shrimp out of this world. Love love the stuffing and mac &cheese. I will be going more often. One of my favorite food place in philly

Excellent Soul Food
This was the first time I had ever gone to Butter's Soul Food. I have to tell you I was not disappointed. The food was excellent and so was the service. I will definitely be back. Keep up the good work. I'm really proud of you guys! Just awesome!
