    Best pizza around

Cacia's is the best pizza around. We live in Montgomery County so we have to drive a bit to get the best. Remember people, You get what you pay for and there is no denying it is the best.

    Best Fresh Italian Bread Anywhere

Cacia's bakes the most delicious Italian bread of ANY bakery. Their bread is baked fresh every day. Actually, it is baked in the middle of the night so it is fresh each and every day. I don't know how much the big old oven lends to the final taste, but it probably has something to do with it. I think it is more the plain and simple ingredients which are then kneeded with great care and baked to perfection that gives Cacia's bread its unique and delicious taste. Around the Holidays, they still roast Turkeys for the neighbors who bring in their Turkeys. It is a quaint and proud tradition that Sam Cacia, the original owner whom I knew, started many decades ago. The worst part of the experience if you don't live in the neighborhood is the lack of parking. There is no where to park. It is South Philly! The Philadelphia Parking Authority Nazi's lurk in the shadows and will pounce on you and slip a very expensive ticket on your windshield in that neighborhood, sometimes even if you only park and run in to the bakery for a few minutes. A little expensive, but the absolute best Italian bread anywhere.

    bread and pizza

The bakery style pizza is excellent. Lately, the strombolis have less filling. Great bread. Don't look for ultra polite service and you'll be fine. Visit around Thanksgiving when the neighborhood folks carry their Turkeys to Cacia's for roasting. It doesn't get more colorful than this neighborhood bakery.

    good bread and pizza

great neighborhood bakery their breads and pizza are baked in a real brick oven the size of a house. they have red, white, veggie and other pies all kinds of bread and rolls. I think they are as good as Sarcones without the high prices. Parking can be a little tight.
