Great -- when they wanna be

I went here on two consecutive days. Day 1: friendly waitress and amazing huarache at an incredible bargain. The food takes a while but it was worth it. Appears to be made from scratch. Very authentic. Very fresh. I left very impressed. Day 2: I ordered a vegan Portuguese sandwich that was supposed to have tofu but it barely had any. I didn't bother complaining. I basically got a roll with some sauce and a few beans on it. And it took forrrreverrr to make. And the waitress was so rude, i.e., aloof. She did everything possible to avoid us, e.g., acting like she was busy behind the lunch counter. We were the only customers there. My wife ordered an espresso and the waitress, for no apparent reason, waited about 10 minutes to start making it. I asked to see a dessert menu and she never came back to take my order. She tried to push the check on us twice although we wanted to order coffee and dessert. I'm not going back. Plenty of other fish in the sea.

This place has an awesome hot chocolate, spiced up with cinnamon and almonds... mmmm... and if you like espresso, add it up for the most delicious beverage. yummmmmy!

    best pork sandwich "pork torta"

I went today with 3 of my friends. Boy, I had the pork torta and it was delicious! I enjoyed it and my friends seemed very happy with their flautas, curry and tacos... they wouldn't share, so I can't tell how good it was, but for the empty plates, I could tell it was good!
