    Poor Management

The food here is pretty good, as a vegan they have a lot of options for me and meat-lovers alike. However, the management is always rushing you alone and on multiple occasions I've see, who I assume is the boss, yelling at other employees for simple mistakes! In addition, I don't think I've even see the same employee in there twice! They consistantly have signs in the windows about employment oppertunitys.

Good Food, Great Price, Nice Neighborhood Feel

I love this place. The food is fresh and delicious. An unusual spinach salad has goat cheese, walnuts, and dried apricots with the most amazing fresh pesto dressing. Yum. Espresso lattes are good but the assortment of chai tea lattes is awesome. There's a chocolate version I save for special occasions when I've been very, very good and deserve a treat. I live around the block and have always found the service polite and very accomodating. Breakfast outside on a Saturday morning is a great way to kick off the weekend--bring your dog and chat with neighbors. Oh, and after 6:00 p.m., sandwiches and salads are reduced to $5.00. Such a great deal when you're too tired to make a meal after work and want something healthy.

    Perfect Cafe!

We live in NJ and are in Phila. 2 to 3 times a week. Cafe Ole is the perfect place to have something to east and NOT be disappointed. The food is consistently good. The Mediterranean Platter is excellent--served with choice of Whole Wheat or White Pita--- the Lox omelet is really good---the Spinach & feta omelet is great as is the Greek Salad. The sandwiches are ALL very well prepared. It's difficult to find something not to enjoy! I recommend Cafe Ole for the culinary expertise/ the lively atmosphere/and the friendliest and most accommodating staff!

    they definitely don't like vegans

I am vegan and used to come in here to get this great Mediterranean salad they used to have and would just ask for no Feta cheese. Never had a problem with it until recently. They must have changed management or just changed people in the front. Every time I've gone in there in the last few months, if you ask for anything special order - especially without cheese - you get the most annoyed faces and attitude. They will totally not work with you to get something vegan - if they don't have it already made, they will not just make you something without cheese or dairy. seriously. And they act like you are asking them to get the pope or something if you ask anything special. They have one vegan wrap that is disappointing. Everything else is pre-made with something non-vegan - so if you don't want the wrap don't bother going in there -- unless you want a big helping of attitude along with your meal.

    Not So Good

Food is overpriced. The only thing good they have is the baked goods which are delivered. A little tiny itsy bitsy cup of soup cost 5 bucks! The coffee is way bitter too. Caesar salad was disappointing.
