I think you'll find the service is not an issue. There are two servers on, most nights, and the food is excellent, and so is the atmosphere, both here and at the more formal Il Positano down the street. Service very poor and slow. Waiting for 4 others to arrive, we were ignored - no water, drinks. When guests arrived we still waited quite a while. When my wife asked for bread she was told "it comes with the salad" which took another 10 minutes. Two of us had the ceasar salad which was bitter and not good. Most entrees were quite good and a good value. One diner asked for parmesan on her entree. After the waitressgave it to her she quickly sped away so the rest of us had to beg for ours.One guest ordered a crab seafood pasta dish. When she told the server there was no crab in it,the waitress pretty much ignored her. Evidently they were out of crab so eventually offered 4 dollars off. Could and should have been a good meal. They were not crowded and had a lovely jazz trio playing.
