It Does NOT Get Any Better Than This
A groupm of 6 of us went to Caffe Valentino today for lunch. As i write this review 6 hours later, all of us are still raving about the place. Sam, the host, greated us very warmly and treated us like gold the entire time. Every item on the menu seems desirable, and the specials caused each of us to drool. Sam was so nice to offer us a complimentary tray of delicious grilled vegetables which we all enjoyed. We all ordered pasta dishes, and no one was disappointed with either the portions or the preparations. Sam was very accomodating as there is always at least one in a crowd this size who wants alterations to a menu item. Sam's smile was genuine as he said "No problem." The place is in a nice neighborhood with plentiful on street parking. We are already talking about a quick return. Thanks Sam. You handled that entire room professionally and perfectly.

Awesome New Years Eve Dinner
My boyfriend and I went to Caffe Valentino for New Years Eve Dinner and had such a great time. The place was packed for the late seating, and the food, service and ambiance were just perfect! We have been there for dinner many times before, but this was our first holiday dinner there. And sometimes the quality or service can be lacking, but that was not the case. I can assure you, not only will we go back soon for dinner, but we will definitely go there again next year for New Years Eve!

Best Italian Food in Philadelphia!
This authentic Italian restaurant is hands down the best in Philly- great atmosphere, wonderful staff, and incredible food. HIGHLY recommend it.

Awesome!
First i would like to say... Chicken parm is very cliche at an italian place, try something new. Macaroni? If you want macaroni stop by Shop Rite and look for the blue kraft box. How about trying the homemade gnocchi gorgonzola or the ravioli that was handmade every morning. Or their homebaked bread? If you want good food at a byob, then try out valentinos... Weve had multiple parties there, dinner all the time... Its worth a try, trust me.

Awesome find!
First time eating at Caffe Valentino and what a find. Went with a large group and the staff couldn't be more hospitable. Appetizers were absolutely amazing... each one got better as we tried them. Loved that we could create any meal to our liking. We ordered specials and created our own sauces and sides. Couldn't be more accommodating. Definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good food cooked to your liking!

Disappointed and left hungry
Waited over an hour to be seated. Although the Hostess/waitress was very nice, service was very very poor. Could be because they don't have enough staff. My brother-in-law's chicken parm tasted like hot sauce, didn't even look like gravy. My sister's macaroni was way undercooked (and I like my macaroni al denti) My chicken marsala (where was the Marsala) one very tiny piece of chicken breast barely cooked and two roasted potatoes (are you kidding me) Although it is a byob, which we didn't know when we went, Enzo didn't ask if we would like something to drink. Water glass was never refilled and no one came over to see if we needed anything....My recommendation.....NO WAY!

Disappointing
My boyfriend and I used to go there alot. Before they did the renovations the food was amazing. Ever since the renovations the food portions are smaller and not very good. The bruschetta used to have this amazing cheese on the bread, not anymore. They used to have this awesome penne pasta with eggplant, golden raisins, and pint nuts which they took off. Service has gone downhill as well.
