Continually Disappointed
We have tried a number of times to make this our "go to" place for mideastern food..but although the owner is nice and friendly, the food is often not fresh (as it can sit for a while and basically be doctored up) not to mention it being overpriced. If you want good fresh mideastern food at a fair price, I unfortunately do not recommend the Caspian Grill.

Best EVER!
Where have you been all my life?? Stopped by chance cuz I was meeting someone. The 3 of us were blown away by the quality, the prices, the variety, the friendliness of the owner! So good!! Highly recommended!

Not as expected
I tried this place after reading the reviews but it was a complete disapointment. For the price one can find much better eating places than this one. Food was ordinary infact one of the entree tasted so stale or something. Owner is no doubt very friendly. But i dont think i will be going back again.

Good Food
Picked up some take out last night; food is a little pricey but very good; my partner reported that the lamb kebob was delicious; basmati rice very fragrant and loved the roasted tomato; wish there had been a larger piece of pita bread; I had the chicken kabob, same feelings; food was fresh, rice delicious; wish there had been more pita bread. Will go back again.

Holiday Food Too!
As excellent as the food is all through the year, Ali also makes THE BEST food for the holidays! The cranberry sauce with pomegranate seeds, the yams and apples, the Ali Alou (potatoes) are exceptional. Go now!!

Great Food, Amazing Service
After our first trip to the Caspian Grille, I have to agree with all of the other reviewers. As good as the food is, the service is even better. As many of the other reviewers note, they offer an amazing variety of fresh food with that is prepared with quality ingredients. You are encouraged to sample everything that they have, and I recommend sampling everything! We tried the hummus (delicious), the baba ghanoush (so good), the chicken kabob, and the chicken curry with Persian rice. After sampling everything, I decided to pick up lunch for tomorrow (which was clearly overkill because I was unable to finish my platter . . . oh well, more great food for us). Oh yeah, and the salads were great too (and sooo fresh). What a gem!! Can't wait to go back to continue the feasting.

Definitely try it out
The owner is amazingly friendly and proud of his food. As others have noted he's quick to offer suggestions of combinations and how to best reheat/prepare any of the items you buy. I had my 3 year old with me on a baklava hunt and he offered her a couple of his other treats to taste for free. Such a nice touch! On a more personal note, I had a variety of the food and highly recommend the ali alou (potato side dish) - it's simply amazing! I could have eaten 3 lbs of it myself. The only drawback I can think of is that I felt the food was overpriced by ~20%, but if you're in the mood for quality persian cuisine and want to spend a dollar or two more than you usually would then give the Caspian Grill a shot!
