I time travelled forward into the space-time continuum, and I have to say that there is no atmosphere because it was transferred into space. Other than that, it was good.

Growing up italian american in a loving home, with a mom who is a great cook, I know you will enjoy your dinner here. when you enter casselli's you are met by a very gracious host, who is part of the new management team. I had the chicken marsala, delicious and a great value! When you arrive ask for a table in front of the window. For me it was like being in an italian Home that I would like to be snow -bound in. Bottom line : you get delicious food that is priced reasonably. Worth the short ride from center city phillie. Take the east river drive to ridge av. for a nice drive.

Not sure about what the other reviewers are talking about, but the new management is great! It's quaint and timeless. Best veal parm and best singer on a karoake machine. It's a neighborhood gem! Always a hit!

We've been return customers since 1994.. I'm sad to say that due to change in management, bar tending star and, most importantly to the service star... The end is near for this formally good place to eat. Lately the entertainment is a 5.0, the bus staff a 4.0, the bar tendering a2.0, the management and hosting a 0.0+ And sadly the wait staff a whopping -.00009 They are either intentionally taking a dive to go out of business or the don't care or both!!!

Debra - perhaps you should learn how to spell Casselli's before you rate it! This restaurant is terrific. One of our favorites in the area. Food is always top notch and prices are extremely reasonable for the quality and value.

Used to go to Cacelli's very often when we lived in that area. Went there this evening for the first time in 2 years. The server was very nice but that is all I can say. The food is not like it used to be. Will never go there again. I'd rather not eat Italian food if that were the only Italian restaurant to go to.

I found Casselli's while I was in medical school in East Falls, and I have been in love with it ever since. The food is excellent, especially the shrimp and scallops over linguini. The soup and salad are also excellent. The basil vinegrette is wonderful. Their specials are always fresh and homemade. I really never have had a bad meal here, and the entertainment is always a nice backdrop.
