ladies at lunch
The food was attractive and fresh, the turkey was moist and ample, however it was smoked and so was the bacon as was the guda cheese in the soup. This did not suit everyones pallet. The service was great. The young woman who waited on us was helpful and pleasant. Our sandwiches were served without chips, which we purchased. We thought the bill was a bit high for 3 sandwiches, 2 iced teas, 1 tap water in plastic cups and a cup of soup. (Over $40.00 for three)The atmosphere was very nice. It is a very clean and beautiful building. I think by changing to "real" flatware and not smoking all the meat Centennial Cafe could become a Philly favorite.

Quaint cafe in the park
The Centennial Cafe is a nice place to sit in the park and have breakfast or lunch. Even though it is located on a busy intersection, you can enjoy the picturesque view of geese, birds and sometimes deer in Fairmount Park. Great place to meet up with a friend that is not so close to you!
