After driving around the block approximately three times in order to find a good parking spot, I was finally able to go in and place my order. Unfortunately, they were out of ribs and I had to wait 30+minutes for them to cook more. I had driven there from the Far Northeast so I couldn't see leaving without my husband's rib platter. So in the meantime, I ordered the BBQ chicken platter for myself. After about 45 minutes total, I finally had my food and was on my way. The sweet potatoes and bbq chicken were delicious, the vegetable medley was OVERCOOKED, and sadly the macaroni and cheese (that I had been dying to taste) was horrible. There was barely any cheese and the macaroni was so overcooked that it tasted mushy. Macaroni should be cooked so that there is still a 'bite' while chewing it. It was horrible. The BBQ ribs that I waited 30+ minutes for barely had any meat on the bones. My husband and me were so disappointed. I wanted an extra side order but they charge $5.00 for a small (I mean TINY) container. Needless to say, we will not be buying food there anymore. P.S. - Also, the chef (Ken) made eye contact with me but didn't speak. My husband owns and operates a pizzeria and being personable and providing great customer service is key. That would have at least been enough for me to give his establishment a second chance :-(

Where do I start...After driving around for twenty minutes to find a parking space, and having to walk three blocks to get the Chef Ken's Cafe, I couldn't wait to pick up my order, drive home and enjoy every mouthful with a glass of chilled wine. That did not happen; instead I open the container and could not believe the Mashed Potatos I ordered was Macaroni and Cheese, the Chicken Wings was Wing Dings, and the Veggie Melody had Corn On The Cob sliced in it! Could this get worst...yes. The Veggies was over cooked, and too salty, the Mac and Cheese was more mac with very little cheese with a lot of pepper. The chicken was so salty ( not spicey) after two bites my mouth was burning. This Take Out Dinner, My money went into the trash bin. Never Again!

Everything about this place was great. The prices are reasonable, especially for the large portion sizes. We had the tilapia and BBQ chicken, both were fantasic. It was hard to decide on which 2 sides to choose from since they all sounded great. I'm a fan of the mac & cheese and yams. To make it even better, the place is clean and comfortable, and the staff was incredibly friendly from the second we walked in. Even when my husband accidently dropped his keys in the trash can, they came over to help out and were very kind about it! I would definitely recommend it.

The food here is excellent. I have gotten food from there a few times and have taken friends. Each time I have been so pleased and so have my friends. Not to mention that Chef Ken always says hello. The service is awesome. I like pretty much everything, however, the roast chicken is to die for. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

I had the pleasure of sampling Chef' Ken's cuisine at a job luncheon which the restaurant catered. I was immediately impressed with the way the servers paid attention to detail, from the tablecloth to the bottle of hot sauce! It was a pleasant surprise not to mention Chef Ken was there an available to answer questions about the delicious variety of food that was brought. I will definitely eat there again but this time I look forward to dining in his restaurant!
