    Dont waste your money !

A couple of friends and i went there for dinner, what a mistake service was poor. I guess they are cutting back on portion size and quality. Even the fries suck they were cold and i needed a magnifying glass to see them. We also needed a GPS to find our watress and bartenders. Place not the same. We left there and wont go back !!

    Over-rated

Went to C&P for the first time tonight (Roosevelt Boulevard) and despite all the hype and great reviews I found it barley average. The mussels in white sauce although loaded with tons of garlic totally lacked any garlic flavor. I'm inclined to believe it was garlic out of a jar that had expired (given ithat it was perfectly uniformly chopped and its white color). The service was mediocre, with soup, salad and entree arriving practically all at once. Lively atmosphere and good music but not worth a second visit for the food.

A good place to hang out but not to eat

My family and I were disappointed in our experience at Chickie and Petes. The hostess was very unfriendly and rude, not sure why they have a policy on not seating complete parties, but that may be part of the problem that there are so many people just milling around in your way when you are trying to eat. The service was fantastic; however that was the only positive aspect of our evening. The food was below average and costly. I guess if you are there to watch a game it is a great place to be, however to take your family somewhere to eat, there are a lot better places in Philly to go.

    Good but expensive

Chickies n Petes is a great place to eat. It has very good food and every time I have gone the waiters have been friendly. It is family friendly during the day but not night. Also, they are good, but a lot of money. They are more expensive than you would expect.

    Great place, great food

I love visiting Chickie's & Pete's anytime I'm home in Philly. The crab fries are delicious, as are the crab legs. The wait staff has always been super friendly and the service is quick, even when it is crowded. I'm not that into sports bars, but this place is a go-to in every season.

    The Best

Anyone who says otherwise is nuts... Chickie's & Pete's is the best. I've been there many times...and was NEVER served cold food by a rude waiter. I love it.

    Yum?

Seriously, I've been going to Chickie's & Pete's forever it seems... I personally have never had a problem with service unless it's jam packed. If that's the case then I know why service is a little slow, not necessarily their fault. I think the food is great, but a little pricier then i would hope. Overall .. well i keep going back.
