    A Restaurant Week Must

Went here for the first time during Philadelphia Restaurant week. If you have never been to a Brazilian steakhouse and enjoy eating and trying different foods, you have to come here! The few problems I had was that because it was restaurant week, we had to wait a while to be seated, despite having a 5pm reservation. Everyone in the restaurant with the same reservation time were seated around the same time, thus causing the line at the salad bar to be very very long and never ending. The main dining area that we were seated in was also pretty small and compact. However, the salad bar had many options, including rice, salad, soup and more. The meats themselves were delicious. Everything was of a high quality and it satisfied even the smallest of foodies (my 10 year old cousin could not get enough steak, looking around several times for the servers to come around with more meats!). Everyone at my table wanted to try some of everything, and we did wait for everything. Because it was restaurant week, we did not get to sample all of the options they regularly have at Chima (i.e. the beef ribs, etc.), but for $35 plus tax and tip I was satisfied. About an hour and a half after being seated, you could tell that it was the restaurants way of telling us it was time to leave since the meats were no longer coming to our table as frequently, if at all. They were very accommodating, making sure that the meats we were waiting for did come to our table. They were able to split the bill up to 3 ways to accommodate for credit cards. I would recommend this place for all ages, just make sure you have a healthy appetite!

    Best beef

Although the salad bar was not as good as it looked, the quality of meats and fish was amazing! The best thing they serve is the beef ribs which taste like heaven. Also, ask for the Brazilian soda they have. It's delicious and they are the only place that serves it.

    Too Loud

We've eaten at Chima in Philadelphia numerous times over the past couple of yrs and have always enjoyed ourselves. Tonight, 2/11/11, we had dinner there and the music was so loud and uncomfortable. All you can hear was an unbearable pounding of the base. I got an incredible headache and will never go back there again! Please note: dinner is supposed to be a relaxing event where you can converse with the friends you are with. It's not supposed to be a disco from the 70's!

I had a great time, and really enjoyed dinner

Pleanty to eat, and the food is really good. (I don't give snobish reviews). Check Restauraunts.com for coupon in your on a budget. Make it a night out. Not a place for a quick bite.

    Great, Great, Great!

My girlfriend and I ate here on Friday night. Up from NY we did not expect much... but we were very surprised. The salad bar was great.. the sides to die for..wine list great.. Ohh the meat, isn't that why you go to a place like this.. lamb was unbelievable, flank steak tasty..swordfish was just so tasty.. I wish I could have gone again the next day but I was still full. A must try!
