Chris's Pizza Restaurant

I moved to Philadelphia about 6 months ago from the south and have been trying REALLY hard to find a decent pizza joint. Chris's kept putting flyers on our front door and I finally gave them a shot a few months ago. I'm SO glad I did! For starters, the girl taking the calls has always been very, very friendly. Even when our order for 5-6 drunk folk gets extremely complicated. I feel like I always have the same person taking the order.... But even if I don't it's great service. The pizza is the best I've had in the Bala Cynwyd area. Not only that, it's the most consistent (I'm looking at you, Toni Roni!). The toppings are always fresh, the dough is always just right, and there's ample cheese. The wings are just so-so. But given my experience with wings in Philadelphia, I can't fault them too much for that. The gyros are excellent with more than enough lettuce, tomato, and onion as well as the gyro sauce. My roommate has ordered the fish platter before and even that was superb. NOTE: Do yourself a favor and order the Chris's special pizza. And if you're around people who don't like all the toppings, order yourself a slice of it. Also, the square pizza is totally worth it to make your dollar and food stretch a little further. All in all, I will continue to order from Chris's Pizza until I have a terrible experience like other reviewers. And even then I'll probably keep ordering haha!

Well there food is great. I'll give them that much. Love it really. But they really need to work on their delivery guys. This one guy, he was about an hour late. The estimated delivery time was about an hour. So why did it take him twice as long. I called the restaurant after an hour of waiting and they said he was on his way. He arrives an hour later. What was the guy doing? And this other guy, bad attitude. He calls me when he arrives and starts yelling at me. I open the door, he gives me my pizza then leaves. I tried saying thanks but he just walks away. I like their food. But their delivery guys discourages me from ordering from them again

I will say their pizza, buffallo wings & salads are ok...but my experiences w/ their hoagies, corned beef specials & steaks have been poor! I could & have made better @ home!! We order from Chris' alot because it's around the corner, but today they gave me the worst hoagie I have ever had! Stale roll, drenched in oil, no oregeno, a little meat & cheese, a tiny bit of shredded lettuce & what seemed like a whole onion! They just lost a really good customer!

My husband is the Maint. person for a nearby Apt. complex and we live on the property. We have ordered from Chris' for a long time, and the food was good...NOT so anymore! Ordered a few weeks ago, they forgot my hoagie..when we called, the girl answering the phone blamed the driver, driver blamed the girl. WHO Cares? Bring my food! It took 1/2 hour for them to return with my food. Last week we ordered a pizza with 1/2 onion, 1/2 pepperoni...as soon as we opened the box we could smell the rancid cheese! We threw the pizza away and have removed the Menus out of our leasing off...
