This is one of the great food experiences to be had in Philadelphia. There is nothing to prepare you for the incredible combination of freshly grilled chicken and just fried falafel, mixed with the most imginative and delicious sauces and salads possible. Yes, Christos is very excentric, and you'll have to listen to his speech while he's preparing your pita sandwich. Forget the great Philly cheesesteak debate, and head for 20th and Market, and wait on line if you have to. It's worth it. The pita is also slightly grilled, and the sides that into the sandwich range from rice with spices and nuts, to greek salad, to cucmber salad, freshly grilled jalapeno, to name just a few. It really doesn't matter. You can't customize your sandwich...and you wouldn't be smart to try... remember the soup Nazi on Seinfeld? You get the idea. Even if there is a side you think you don't want on your sandwich, go ahead and try it. I haven't had one yet that I didn't love. Everything Christos does, works. I am suprised that 20th and Market is less crowded than 9th and Passyunk. This Falafel Truck is absolutely sensational, 5 stars from a real foodie! Not to be missed!
