Best Steaks and Cheese-Steaks
Lived in Philly for most of my 70 years, and have eaten a steak or cheese-steak almost every week since 1958. Chubby's has the very best I've ever eaten. The meat is delicious and each sandwiche is cooked to orde and to perfection. No fat or grizzle can be found here. Pick-up / take-outs are ready to go in ten minutes. My very favorite is their Mushroom cheese-steak. It's large enough for a complete meal. Their French Fries and never greasy or overcooked. I've taken some of my fussiest friends there... They all agree with me: Chubby 's is the Best of Philly... I'm heading there now.

Hoagie? Not!
Buddy took me to Chubby's for the first time yesterday. Friendly, clean and affordable. I got the Itallian hoagie and was not pleased. I'm not saying it wasn't edible, but it lacked personality. I'm used to a soft roll, plenty of meat and a robust taste. A hoagie should be moist and packed with stuff that every time you take a bite stuff falls off. Just my opinion, but Chubby's hoagies remind me of a boxed lunch and not a good one. Sorry guys.

Nice place to eat
Great food, outstanding service. Fries were a little blah but the cheesesteak was perfect.

The Pickles made me cross the street!
I grew up going to the place across the street, but as an adult I went back to learn they had to pickles. I've been going to Chubby's ever since. The awesome selection of pepper and pickles sets them apart!

Good Cheese steaks
Consistent quality and fresh ingredients. great selection for peppers and pickles. They also support a lot of community organizations with their Dining for Dollars programs. Walk across the street and give them a try. You won't be disappointed.

Great steak and nice people.
