Good food, long wait...
My boyfriend and I have lived in Chestnut Hill for 2 years and finally went to Cin Cin over the weekend. We were seated right away, and ordered the spring rolls and steamed dumplings to start, both of which were very good, but took a long time to come out. Also, they don't serve the crispy noodles at Cin Cin, which disappointed my boyfriend. We then waited about 20 more minutes for our entrees to come out. We had general's chicken, which wasn't very warm (and was a pretty small portion), and shrimp over angel hair pasta, which was pretty good. Overall, we liked the restaurant, but it was pricey and we waited so long for the food, i don't know if we'll be back.

Food is good. Reservations are a gamble.
We recently went to cin cin where we order take out from fairly often. We had a 6:30 reservation and were told it would be an extra half hour. After 40 minutes of waiting for our table we were told by the hostess that it was ready. Two seconds later the manager came out and gave our table to some other customers. There were others there that had the same thing happen to them. Absolutely ridiculous. We won't order or go there again.

Gotta know the manager
As the hostess was set to seat my party the manager came out of the dining room, went over to some of his regular customers and seated them ahead of us, even though we had reservations. The hostess was chagrined. After we were finally seated and we were waiting for our main courses to be served, the same manager came over and asked if we could do him a favor...let him seat us at a different table because someone else wanted our table! I absolutely refused! This isn't the first time that I've seen him seat his friends/regulars ahead of people whose names are on the reservation list. By the way, the food wasn't as good as usual. The sauces were heavy and oily.

very nice
We went for lunch and it was very good. The lunch menu was basicly the same as the dinner menu, the portions were very filling and the price was great! The decor was nice and the service good. While there they started setting up for dinner and added tablecloths which gave it a richer look. I would definitely go back again and recommend this resturant.

Very good Chinese food for Europeans!
I really enjoy the food at Cin Cin because it is not a typical Chinese food that you get in other Chinese restaurants in the US. It has more European taste to it, reminding me of high-end Chinese restaurants in France, Germany or England.

Great Food.
I don't think of this as a $$$$ four dollar sign cost for Chinese. Though it is a little pricier, the food well deserves to be. This is not your hole-in-the wall, scoop it out in front of you type food. Very good
