    The Best Place to Eat

We frequent the diner at least twice a week for breakfast and several times for dinner and have never had a bad meal. The people are friendly, helpful and courteous. Never a problem. Sam, the owner is terrific! Don't like going anywhere else!

    Typical diner

The inside of the diner is slightly more upscale than the typical diner, in comparison to other diners in the area. There is plenty of room in the seating and the diner appears to be well maintained. The service was adequate. The waitress was friendly and fairly prompt. We didn't have to wait any longer than one would expect at a diner, but the waitress could have checked in on us once or twice more to see if we needed refills or anything. The food is typical diner slop. My entree, which I normally enjoy a lot at decent restaurants, was not very good. The food wasn't heated properly and it just didn't taste too good. The side dishes are atrocious. They were completely bland. I didn't know if my mashed potatoes were potatoes or a bowl of flour mixed with water. The spinach tasted like it had no seasoning at all. They just threw some chopped up spinach into some lukewarm water and served it up.

    Glad she is back!

I was a frequent diner at the Clubhouse before it sold. Many of my family members as well as close relatives went there. After new ownership things went way down hill. Many of of left but..recently I went back to find the reason for the Clubhouse ever being considered great.. The manager Donna is back! Things are back in order and if there is a problem she will resolve it.. I am going back full force & giving it a try in hopes Donna brought back the order there use to be:)

    Service issues

I been to this diner alot mostly in the morning between 8am an 11am and have had no problems. I had always liked the food and the service. I went around 2am and was waited on by a waitresswho gave me the worst service I have ever recieved at a restaurant anywhere. She served me a cold omelette and forgot the english muffin on top of that she kept looking back at my friend and I and laughing. She was sitting at the counter with what appeared to be a drunk customer and I think a staff member.
