Wow!
Food is great .... beer cold, and the only pizza restauraunt with a pinball machine! Great playing pinball, eating pizza and enjoying a few brews.

not that bad
Most pizza around here is terrible. Colonial is not bad, and even pretty good if you get a freshly made pie instead of slice. Their curly fries with cheese are awesome. My hubs says their burgers are solid. The people who work there are nice. Also, they have beer (!)

Pretty Good for Take-Out/Delivery
Dear Colonial Pizzaz, You are clearly the owner or manager of Colonial Pizza. There is not "so much more" to pizza than being the best. A pizza joint is not about rainbows and smiles it is about pizza, wings, etc. That's it. I could not care less if the staff "encourages me to go out and enjoy life." Ridiculous. The food at Colonial is pretty good for what it is - a neighborhood place that does have a lot of items on the menu at reasonable prices. And beer. Which can be clutch.

Colonial Pizzaz
Whoa. Tims. Is it possible that both Tims are one in the same? Tim first wrote in March of 2007 about his distaste for Colonial and then a mere month later realized that no other reviews had been posted, and took it upon himself to write another to drive his original point home? Domino's? I'm gonna have to agree with Greg and Anonypants on this one. The pizza is fine and the staff is always encouraging you to enjoy life and have fun. Pizza is great and it comes in so many different varieties and styles. That seems to be something you have forgotten, Tims. It's not always about being the best. There is no "best pizza". It doesn't exist. Pizza is about so much more. It's about friends and parties. It's about rootbeer and/or beer. It's about taking a slice of life and enjoying it for what it is at that very moment. Piece.

great pizza,
I really don't understand what these guys are talking about as far as the pizza goes, I have been eating at Colonial for years. The pizza is great, full of fresh topping, very tasty.

So the pizza isn't any good.
I don't know why so many establishments in Philadelphia use pizza in their names yet the pizza is the worst food they serve. I had a double chicken cheesesteak with lettuce, tomato, fried onions and whiz and it was by far the best I've had on this side of the Schuykill. Had it been on a better roll it may have been the best chicken cheesesteak i've ever had. Also the curly american cheese fries were really good. Delivery guy was here in 30 flat. My near perfect rating is to offset my previous rating on just the pizza, but I still don't understand why all these guys insist on naming them pizza places when it's their sandwiches should should be the main attraction.
