    Lunch

I was disappointed with my meal. I ordered their lunch special - grilled chicken buffalo sandwich with fries. The sandwich was drowning in blue cheese dressing and it was falling apart - you could barely eat it and the fries were soggy. I probably won't go back there again.

A slice of Ireland with Great Food!

Con Murphy had a fantastic band that played classic old Irish songs I hadn't heard in ages. The food was great, not the tired old menu of other Irish pubs. Really looking to head back for a pint of Guiness and gear up for Paddy's Day.

    Great Brunch

I went to Con Murphy's for brunch a few weeks ago. I was really surprised by the quality of the food - not at all what I would expect from a restaurant attached to a hotel. The homemade English muffins are worth the trip alone. The food was good quality (no stringy, overcooked bacon or limp, watery fruit salad) and well prepared. The drinks were tasty. Service was attentive. My only complaint is the atmosphere - the chairs were a kind of uncomfortable and the decor was a little overbearing (what's with the guy on the horse?). The bar area is kind of oddly shaped--there's a big pillar in the middle of the bar that essentially divides it in two. Overall, though, I will definitely go back - no wait for brunch on Sunday morning, unlike virtually everywhere else.

    Eat before you come

A few friends and I decided to try the new Con Murphys for some food and drinks. Atmosphere was very interesting for an Irish pub and we all thought is was great. Service was fantastic, drink prices were good. Word of advise eat before you come. The food was cold and not good. We had the riblets they were like eating cartlidge, the slider would have probably been ok if they were even remotly hot. The cheese steak is nothing of what I would had expected from a restaurant in Philly, no where need a philly cheese Steak and to think they charged my friend the same price for a mushroom (skinny) cheese steak seems absolutely crazy. The salmon with lentils would have been ok again if it was hot and not cold. Then we had an apple pot pie, apples were hard as a rock. Would I go again yes for drinks only....
