Inconsistent service
Maybe each location is different due to managment. On one Saturday afternoon I popped in for something simple at the counter and got professional service from someone who looked like a manager. The baker saw me having my knosh while watching him work and he asked me if I'd like a sample. Some of the servers I've had in the evening have been very friendly. On other nights, I'll walk in, no one will be standing at the front podium. I'll grab myself a seat and no one comes to give me a menu. They'd leave me for dead if I didn't bring it to someone's attention! If you're looking for value without a lot of expectations, it's good. If you're looking for a pleasant dinner and expecting to impress, forget it! I can remember getting more consistent service at the 12th Street location.
