Good ingredients... poor service and prep
Cosi has so much potential to be an excellent place. For some reason, I keep giving the a try (maybe it's because of their addictive bread...), but never again will I try this location. Every single time I've been there has been nothing but disappointment. Sloppy sandwich assembly and missing key ingredients in half-filled salad bowls (which when you don't open the bag until you get home is very disappointing) make for an unforgettably poor experience every time. What tops it off is the consistent attitude you get from staff (be it at the register or at the prep station) no matter when you go. This isn't Rittenhouse-specific. I have had the same problem at 30th street and Market street. Service is so consistently disappointing, it almost seems as though they train their staff to be disengaged and bitter. Whatever Starbucks does to keep their staff so happy, Cosi needs to find it out and do it or sell the bread recipe to someone who will!

Avoid this Location
The poorly trained staff at this location is matched by a manager who seems to never be able to keep an ample supply of bread and other menu items. Apart from the store baked bread, virtually all of the other "fresh" items are prepackaged and prepared by Sysco. Nevertheless, they charge a premium price.
