South Philly's best
I've been ordering from Cosmi's for a few years now and I've never been disappointed. Hoagies are great, South Philly Italian is my favorite. The Steaks are good, Cutlets as well. I often get salads, everything is always very fresh. I also really like their wings. Service is always friendly. Can't go wrong here.

Very fresh,good food and sandwiches
Grew up eating nothing but fresh lunchmeats and fresh rolls from Cosmi, even when I moved out of the area, I came back from time to time to make my purchases. I'm back in the area now, right down the street from Cosmi. Now that they make all kinds of sandwiches and salads, I enjoy it all. Customer Service Is XXXXXXX Love you guys Delores & Alexis

Fresh Philly Style
Loved it! Friendly staff, fresh food and fast delivery. Affordable Philly style food with delivery. We ordered the cheesesteaks, pizza fries & soup and it all was delicious, hot & fresh.

Classic
Cosmi's is an excellent example of how S. Phila. neighborhoods are great. It's a 77-year-old deli that's been in the same family and building since my grandparents were children. The green vertical sign makes an excellent view along with the facade of Termini Brothers, the 88-year-old bakery and pasticceria a few doors further south on 8th street. Though there's no lack of character to the place, the owners and staff have always been nice, welcoming, and aiming to please. A favorite hoagie shop is always a matter of personal taste, but if you're in the neighborhood, take a look at Cosmi's. If you do, they will have to be a part of your conversation.

new place i'll take out of towners
definitely an enjoyable spot with top notch hoagies and cheesesteaks. the fact that they're open 7 days a week means i'll be heading there much more often! i ordered the south philly italian hoagie (which i saved for dinner) and a cheesesteak (lunch!), both on the seeded roll. i was very impressed. the cheesesteak had a perfect meat to bread ratio...and the seeded rolls are amazing. comsi's kind of lacks in the "diablo" category of spicy meats, but hardly a complaint. next time my fiancee's italian family comes to town, we're picking up Cosmi's before heading a few doors down to Termini Bros.

In from the Burgh
traditionally we go to royersford every year for thanksgiving with family, this year we decided to go downtown to see a few sights and get a cheesesteak, this place was awesome, better than any commercialized joints. i will make it a point to incorporate this pit stop into my annual thanksgiving day weekend every year now. go there, no wait, very hospitable, you won't regret it. see ya next year cosmi's.

Excellent!
Even in South Philadelphia, which is where good hoagies are born, Cosmi's stands out. The chicken soprano with broccoli rabe and sharp provolone is the food of the gods. Everyone is polite, even when they're busy, and they do a good job of predicting when your order will be ready. I go there whenever I can.
