Top Tomato
I feel unusually confident in asserting that The Couch Tomato s the best pizza in Philadelphia. Pizza, of course, is a bellweather for subjectivity some like thick, chewy slices, and some like Sicilian, and some like very sour sauce, and so forth. I prefer thin, crisp crusts, just enough cheese, and a highly rich, smoky tomato sauce and the Couch Tomato has perfected this. They also have fine salads, very competative prices, and very likely the nicest employees I've encountered on Main Street, at a pizza shop, or perhaps anywhere. The Couch Tomato strives for excellence and, in my opinion, achieves it.

totally over -rated
Are you kidding me? This place is not what they say they are. The sups taste like campbell's rather than home made, infact give me canned soup, it's better. The rlls are hard and let me not forget to mention, the pizza, What pizza? It's like paper thin, so expensive for what? Wheres the dough? and the cheese? and the sauce?please tell me!!!

Thumbs up
We love their pizza - nutty chicken is the best! Soups are great too.. never had a bad experience?! Our favorite place in town, hands down.

Fab food, all else mediocre at best
As a customer who orders from couch tomato 2-3 times/week on average, I feel as though I have a valid perspecitve. The food at couch tomato is amazing- fresh, delicious, and creative. Also, it's very flexible for those who are health-conscious. However, the staff is often unfriendly and incompetent. They often mess up orders, ignore customers, and take too long to get orders together. The prices aren't great, but at least the food is good and rather quick. The amosphere leaves something to be desired, but I guess that's why they're explanding. Overall, they should perhaps train their staff better. But, they're on the right track with what yuppie yunkers want; Inexpensive, healthy, yummy, quick food. :)

hard rolls
Good food, just dont eat the rolls they are hard as a rock! Takes more than an hour for delivery on the weekdays. Sometimes they forget something on delivery. Resteraunt is a little tight but eating outside is nice.

Cardboard
I would not reccommend anyone buying the wheat crust. I could not find parking within a mile. I ended up driving back up to Roxborough and ordering delivery from them. It took them 55 minutes on a weekday night. There are cheaper and better pizza places in the Roxborough/Manayunk area. It is to bad because I was looking for a healthier pizza not cardboard.

Great place in Manayunk
My roommates and I eat here at least once a week. The salads are creative and delicious. They also have great pizza and soups!
